Again in 2017 University Eye Specialists physicians are among Cityview magazine’s Top Docs.
Top Docs are determined by peers. The magazine annually asks the area’s referring physicians to identify whom they would choose if they, a patient or a loved one needed specialized care.
Three of our practice’s ophthalmologists are included this year:
Dr. Paul D. Froula: Dr. Froula joined University Eye Specialists in 1992 after completing his residency with the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He has been named a Top Doc in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Dr. Herbert J. Glatt: A subspecialist in oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Glatt has earned Top Doc recognition in 2014, 2015 and 2017. He joined University Eye Specialists in 1989 and was the first fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon in East Tennessee.
Dr. David J. Harris Jr.: Dr. Harris has made the Top Doc list consistently from 2005 to 2017. He joined University Eye Specialists in 1989 and is a cornea specialist.
